HJ Landscaping & Construction is a family-run outfit based in Torquay, working right across the Surf Coast and Geelong. We started in garden maintenance and grew, deliberately, into full outdoor construction.
From maintenance to full builds
We started small — paving, retaining, the structural work that makes a yard usable. Over the years we kept learning, kept training, and kept taking on bigger work. Today we're a team of carpenters, concreters and landscape experts who can take a project from the first site cut to the final touch without subbing out the parts that matter.
Everything runs through one crew and one site supervisor. That means the same faces on your block every day, work that's actually coordinated, and a finish with the wow factor — an entertaining space and a backyard that feels like home.
Our own gear, our own standards
We run our own excavators, bobcats and tippers — from big machines to ones that squeeze through a side gate for tight-access jobs. Owning the gear means the dirt work happens on our timeline, not a subbie's, and waste leaves site fast and clean.
All the insurances needed to do the job properly, all the qualifications across carpentry, concrete and landscaping. We hold ourselves to a high standard because our name's on the gate.
